Successful Conclusion of 3rd Leadership Program on High Performance Healthcare Organizations Arranged by MILE in Madinah

The Madinah Institute For Leadership and Entrepreneurship (MILE) recently hosted its 3rd successful Leadership Program for High Performance Health Organizations (HPHO) in collaboration with Madinah and Riyadh, Health Directorates who sponsored 35 and 10 seats respectively for the HPHO3 program. The event was based on 7 consecutive days of precious and highly interactive sessions addressed by top notch professional from internationally recognized leaders and consultants from the Healthcare Industry across the globe.

The event was held at Crowne Plaza Hotel,Madinah. Day 1 of the session formally started off after the opening speech of Dr. Mohamed Moustafa Mahmoud, CEO of MILE with an interactive session by Prof. Michael E. Chernew, Leonard D. Schaeffer Professor of Health Care Policy, Harvard Medical School, USA, who spread some light on Healthcare Growth Spending and the Role of Benefit Design Innovation.

It was the perfect start for the 50+ participants, all senior healthcare professionals. In the following days the participants were enlightened with productive, revealing and highly interactive sessions by speakers from reputable organizations around the world including Prof. OssamaMosallam, American University of Cairo, Egypt, Prof. Stefane Mostafa - Dean of the School of Environment and Health Sciences, Canadian University of Dubai, Gregory Sorensen, M.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Healthcare in North America, Former Professor Harvard Medical School, USA and many other senior renowned speakers across the world.

November 26Th, 2015 - 'Meet the Healthcare Leaders conference', a Graduation Ceremony and Complimentary Umrah marked the closing event of such an informative session. It started with the welcome Speech by Dr. Mohammed Moustafa Mahmoud, CEO, MILE, followed by informative speeches by renowned personalities from various prestigious organizations across the globe to name a few; General Director of Madinah Health Department, Health Directorate Ministry of Health, President and Managing Director of Maharah HR Company, Professor of Medicine King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre Riyadh, Senior Health and Community Service Manager, Nahdi Medical Company, KSA and others who discussed about a range of topics from Diabetes Education to Healthcare challenges, role of Healthcare leaders and Patient-Centered care strategies.

With supportive material such as success stories, exemplary case studies and open house discussions the speakers lead the participants on a road of developing healthcare leadership styles that would not only prove to be beneficial in meeting their organization's mission and vision but will also help the healthcare professional in their personal development and further skills enhancement. Speakers, dose not only focused on healthcare issues but also shared some knowledge about good management practices such as proper quality control, employee management, conflict resolution and effective analysis of problematic situations.
